This quartet is so amazing on so many different levels...go see 'em whilst they still exist in PDX. I really think this one could go a long way in the Jazz world!

I used him almost exclusively in my band when he used to reside in the NYC area, as he always brought so much knowledge and artistry to the music. And combined with his multi-instrumentalist abilities, Chris Brown is a unique talent that's not often found.

Nick Biello Quartet

  • The 1905 830 North Shaver Street Portland, OR, 97227 United States (map)

Saxophonist/multi-instrumentalist and composer Nick Biello is back at The 1905. But this time it’ll not only be as quartet, but as a group of people who all have deep ties to the NYC scene (two of which currently live there while the other two are Portland residents who are former residents of the NYC area).

Nick has shared the stage with world-class artists such as Slide Hampton, Cedar Walton, the Jimmy Heath Big Band, Orrin Evans and the Captain Black Big Band, Clarence Penn, and John Benitez. 2024 saw his trio project release, "Between Light and Shadow", available on La Reserve Recordings, which received critical acclaim. His new album, “New America”, featuring Charlie Porter and George Colligan, will be available in May.

This event will most likely sell out. So you’d be wise to get your tickets ASAP!!!
