This quartet is so amazing on so many different levels...go see 'em whilst they still exist in PDX. I really think this one could go a long way in the Jazz world!

I used him almost exclusively in my band when he used to reside in the NYC area, as he always brought so much knowledge and artistry to the music. And combined with his multi-instrumentalist abilities, Chris Brown is a unique talent that's not often found.

The Christopher Brown Trio @ "Jazz in the Pearl"

  • 901 Northwest 10th Avenue Portland, OR, 97209 United States (map)

Lately there has been an uptick in the level of interest in Jazz music here in Portland, for which I couldn’t be more excited about. And as such, the Pearl District Neighborhood Association (PDNA) has chosen to enter the arena by investing into the presentation of this quintessentially American creation as a way to catalyze a sense of economic and cultural vibrancy back into what was once one of the most vibrant parts of downtown Portland. So needless to say, this performance represents the beginning of a cause and exciting journey of surprises for how this audacious agenda unfolds. And we want you alongside us every step of the way!

Tickets can be purchased here and at the door.
