This quartet is so amazing on so many different levels...go see 'em whilst they still exist in PDX. I really think this one could go a long way in the Jazz world!

I used him almost exclusively in my band when he used to reside in the NYC area, as he always brought so much knowledge and artistry to the music. And combined with his multi-instrumentalist abilities, Chris Brown is a unique talent that's not often found.

The Christopher Brown Trio (feat) John Nastos

  • Botanist 910 Northwest 14th Avenue Portland, OR, 97209 United States (map)

As a new partnership has now formed between the PDX Jazz Festival and Botanist, this performance will serve as another celebratory step forward in the collective efforts that many are making to continually raise the profile of Jazz music throughout the city of Portland. So while this is a win for both Botanist and this city’s musicians, it’s also a win for the audiences that love both this music and it’s culture. Much of which is a testament to the tireless work that the PDX Jazz Festival organization has committed themselves to doing since their inception.
