George Colligan, Jazz pianist, multi-instrumentalist, composer and educator, who recently won the Down Beat critics poll in the "Rising Star Keyboard" category, celebrates his 27th album at Jimmy Mak's. "Write Them Down" (RMI) is a unique endeavor for Colligan in that he wrote all the music and lyrics, sang all lead and background vocals, performed all the instrumental tracks, and recorded the music either in his home, his garage, or in his office at Portland State University.
