This quartet is so amazing on so many different levels...go see 'em whilst they still exist in PDX. I really think this one could go a long way in the Jazz world!

He is a uniquely talented performer and educator, and a man in whom I trust and for whom I hold great admiration.

I used him almost exclusively in my band when he used to reside in the NYC area, as he always brought so much knowledge and artistry to the music. And combined with his multi-instrumentalist abilities, Chris Brown is a unique talent that's not often found.

The Christopher Brown Trio

  • 1139 Northwest Lovejoy Street Portland, OR, 97209 United States (map)

In the wake of the sea of change that has taken place over the past several years, it has been inspiring to see how people have leaned into their creativity and resiliency to create the kind of positive outcomes that they want. And one such organization that’s working to resurrect the thriving atmosphere that once defined the Pearl District of downtown Portland, is the Pearl District Neighborhood Association. So what better way to build back than through the tried and true nature of creating cultural alignment among enough people, which music has been doing since the beginning of time. Therefore, I’d like to encourage you to join us for this simple, yet powerful, gathering to help signify that Pearl district can in fact bounce back better than ever!
